Admission criteria
To be considered for entry into this course, you must have:
- Completed a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent qualification, i.e. Master of Nursing Science entry to practice); and
- Current unrestricted registration as a Division 1 Registered Nurse; and
- A minimum of two (2) years full-time equivalent post registration experience in a clinical area within the preceding four years from the time of application; and
- Current employment as a registered nurse in an area of practice with regular opportunity for medication related activity; and
- Evidence of appropriate involvement of an independent prescriber to supervise and assess clinical competencies in preparation for prescribing.
