Bachelor of Science Integrated (Honours)

The Bachelor of Science Integrated (Honours) requires the successful completion of 400 credit points completed at one of our partner institutions and at the University of Melbourne.

What you'll complete at a partner institution

200 points, undertaken at an international partner university, consisting of 175 credit points of Level 1 and 2 Science Discipline subjects and 25 credit points of breadth subjects.

What you'll complete in Australia

200 points of study, including:

• 25 credit points of breadth Level 2 or Level 3.
• Up to 25 credit points level 2 Major subjects (if required).
• 50 credit points of Level 3 Major subjects.
• 25–50 credit points of Level 3 elective Science Discipline subjects.
• 25–50 points of Level 4 research capstone subjects.
• Up to 50 points of Level 9 elective subjects.

Course structure

Major and elective subjects

You will be able to complete any of the Bachelor of Science's majors, dependent on specific subject credits. This will mean completing 350 credit points of Science subjects, including:

• A minimum of 62.5 credit points of Level 1 Science Discipline subjects.
• A minimum of 62.5 credit points of Level 2 Science Discipline subjects.
• A maximum of 125 credit points of Level 1 subjects.
• A minimum of 37.5 credit points of Level 2 Major subjects.
• 50 credit points of Level 1/2 Science Discipline or Elective subjects.
• A minimum of 75 credit points of Level 3 Science Discipline subjects.
• A minimum of 50 credit points of Level 3 Major subjects.
• 50 credit points of Level 9 elective subjects, as approved by the course coordinator, relevant to the chosen major.
• 50 credit points of Level 3, Level 4  or Level 9 elective subjects relevant to the chosen major, as approved by the course coordinator. This must include:
  • At least 25 credit points of Level 4 research capstone subjects.
  • No more than 25 credit points of level 3 in the fourth year.

Breadth subjects

You'll also complete 50 credit points of breadth subjects, with a maximum of 12.5 credit points of Level 1 Breadth subjects.
