This two-day intensive program is designed for healthcare professionals of all disciplines who want to develop the practical leadership skills needed to deliver better outcomes for organisations, colleagues and patients.

The Intensive Clinical Leadership program offers students the opportunity to undertake one of two subjects that form part of the Specialist Certificate in Clinical Leadership: Leadership in Clinical Settings or Leading Healthcare Change for Impact. Intake availability is determined by the study dates of these subjects.

After successfully completing this intensive, you have the option to progress to the Specialist Certificate in Clinical Leadership.

Dr Vinita Rane

Academic Lead, Health Leadership, Department of Medical Education

Dr Vinita Rane is the Academic Lead for Health Leadership in the Department of Medical Education at the University of Melbourne. She is a dual-trained Sexual Health and General Medicine physician with over 20 years of experience in clinical leadership, health service delivery, and postgraduate education. Dr Rane has led teams through complex, high-pressure environments, including as Head of the Pandemic Unit at Northern Health, and as Director of Physician Education.
