A guide to entry scores for the Danish Studentereksamen (STX)
To be eligible to be considered for an offer, students who have completed the Danish Studentereksamen (STX) need to:
- achieve the required result on the Danish Studentereksamen (STX), and
- satisfy the course prerequisites (by achieving the required scores in the approved prerequisite subjects), and
- satisfy the English language requirements1.

1. English language requirements can be met with a Grade 7 or higher in English A or Grade 10 or higher in English B in the Danish Studentereksamen (STX).
2. Applicants can satisfy course prerequisites in any of the methods outlined here. There are a range of approved options to satisfy prerequisites including: completion of an approved online subject (for example, the University of Melbourne’s Calculus and Probability Online, UniLearn Biology or UniLearn Chemistry).
3. The following majors in the Bachelor of Design require the completion of secondary school mathematics: Civil Engineering Systems, Computing, Construction, Mechanical Engineering Systems, Property, and Digital Infrastructure Engineering Systems.
4. A range of criteria is used for selection into the Bachelor of Fine Arts (all specialisations). Admission is based primarily on portfolio/audition/interview, or other course-specific additional requirements. Satisfactory completion of the high school qualification is still required. Fine Arts applicants must meet the English language requirements. Applicants must also satisfy the course-specific additional requirements, including submitting a supplementary application form – refer to the relevant Bachelor of Fine Arts course page for details.
5. A range of criteria is used for selection into the Bachelor of Music (all majors). Admission is based primarily on audition, but satisfactory completion of the high school qualification is still required. Applicants must meet the English language requirements. Applicants must also satisfy the course-specific additional requirements, including submitting a supplementary application form – refer to the relevant Bachelor of Music course page for details.
