Vietnam Application Days
We're pleased to invite you to our 2025 Application Days on Saturday 18 January in Ho Chi Minh City and Sunday 19 January in Hanoi. You can explore your study and career options across a range of interdisciplinary areas and uncover courses and majors that suit your passions. Be able to meet with current students and academics and learn more about the future of work — and how a University of Melbourne degree sets you up for it.
Your prior high school studies will determine if you're eligible for direct entry into an undergraduate degree or will need to first complete a foundation program.
Direct entry into an undergraduate degree
We accept students who graduate with a Vietnam National High School Graduation Certificate (Bang Tot Nghiep Trung hoc Pho thong). There are three ways a National High School Graduation Certificate student can meet the requirements for direct entry:
1. Graduate from one of the above approved schools and achieve the indicated minimum GPA.
2. Graduate from a non-approved school, achieve the indicated GPA AND complete an SAT/ACT meeting the minimum score
3. Enrol and complete a Trinity College Foundations Studies pathway.
All applicants must have completed any course prerequisite subjects and meet English language requirements to be eligible.
Foundation studies pathway
For students who do not attend one of the approved gifted high schools or those students who do not wish to complete Year 12 in Vietnam, Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS) is our preferred foundation studies program and pathway for international students seeking entry into a Melbourne undergraduate degree.
Trinity College is an affiliated residential college and pathway school of the University of Melbourne.
