The University of Melbourne Extension Program is for high-achieving students looking to further their academic potential. It's free to join and through the program you'll be able to study university subjects alongside your final year of high school.
With an extensive range of subjects to choose from, you’ll study alongside first-year students who share your academic interests, and have a chance to experience university life while still at school.

Information for teachers and schools
Eligible secondary school teachers can receive specialised training to deliver Extension Program Mathematics classes at their own schools in 2025.
Enrolled in the 2024 program? Here are some key Semester 1 dates:
| Monday 26 February to Sunday 26 May | Semester 1 classes (on campus) |
| Monday 3 June to Friday 21 June | Semester 1 exam period |
| Friday 5 July | Semester 1 results release date |
