Practical and research-focused learning
This program is all about applying what you learn. Around half your time will be spent in clinical practice, with the rest focused on research and structured learning. You’ll have the chance to complete a research project and minor thesis, and gain valuable teaching experience by helping to supervise dental students. It’s a rich, hands-on way to build skills that go far beyond textbooks.
Outstanding clinical facilities
You’ll have access to world-class facilities, including the University of Melbourne’s private clinic, as well as leading hospitals and partner clinics. These experiences give you exposure to patients with complex needs and help you build valuable networks in your chosen specialty.
