Profile
Ronan Burder
In the years since graduating I have grown from coordinating local investigator initiated studies in Australia’s public healthcare system, to now being a global Project Manager, handling multiple, complex, early phase oncology studies at a CRO.
Before enrolling in this course, I had graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours but was still working as a retail assistant and not using my degrees. My goal was to get a job running Clinical Trials. Through undertaking the course units, I was able to patch the gaps in my understanding of core research concepts that are not typically taught in other courses including GCP and study design. For me, the improved understanding of these concepts and getting connected to people in the industry made me a much more desirable candidate - I landed a clinical trials job at a local hospital before even finishing the course.
