Profile
Danica Idzes
I chose this program because the structure and subject offerings provided a comprehensive foundation in clinical research, supporting my goal of becoming more actively involved in future projects.
What I loved most about it was the course structure—short intensive subjects made it much easier to fit around work. Data Analysis in Clinical Research was a little daunting at first, but it really boosted my confidence in analysing data and reading and understanding research articles. The teaching staff were very friendly and approachable, creating a supportive environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and joining in discussions. I also really enjoyed the chance to practice presenting research and getting feedback from peers, which helped me build my communication skills and connect with other students.
This program has greatly enhanced my understanding of how research is conducted. It has strengthened my skills, opening opportunities to collaborate with other international research groups and contribute more meaningfully to projects within my current research team. Since completing the program, I’ve commenced a PhD with a Research Training Program Scholarship. Overall, the program has given me the skills, confidence, and opportunities to advance my research career.
