Admission criteria
To be considered for entry into this course, you must:
- Have completed a four year bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65%, or equivalent. Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Structural engineering.
Or
- Have completed a four year bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65%, or equivalent. Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Civil engineering.
And - Have one year of documented relevant work experience, or
- 30% of the final year of the degree dedicated to structural engineering subjects.
Or
- Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65%, or equivalent. Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Structural engineering.
And - Have two years of documented relevant experience since graduation.
Or
- Have completed a bachelor degree (AQF7) in a cognate (relevant) discipline with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 65%, or equivalent. Cognate (relevant) disciplines include: Civil engineering.
And - Have three years of documented relevant experience since graduation.
Relevant experience is measured in full-time years but may be completed within a part-time equivalent timeframe.

Graduate Access Melbourne (GAM)
