Dr Renee Paulet

Online Educator (Human Resource Management)


Dr Renee Paulet has taught and researched Human Resource Management (HRM) for over 26 years. Over her career, she has developed a body of research spanning topics including sustainable HRM, green HRM, the impact of place on HRM, HRM in call centres, and managing HR in small businesses. Renee is committed to providing quality higher education to students studying both on and off campus. She has researched the continuous improvement of teaching to off campus students through peer enhancement programs and assessment design in the age of AI.

Dr Aman Ullah

Course Director


Dr Aman Ullah (MBA, PhD) has over 15 years of academic experience at Australian universities. He has a solid foundation in human resource management theory. Aside from his academic background, Aman has led high-performance teams at major multinational organisations like Novartis and Servier Pharmaceuticals, providing a unique blend of academic rigour and practical industry insights. This combined experience allows Aman to connect theoretical ideas with real-world business practices in his teaching. His diverse background, extensive teaching history, industry connections, and dedication to excellence all contribute to student success in management courses. Dr Aman has a proven track record in subject coordination, curriculum development, student support, and delivering face-to-face, blended, and fully online education.

Dr Belinda Allen

Subject Coordinator


Belinda Allen (PhD in Organisational Behaviour) is a lecturer of Management in the Department of Management and Marketing. Having started her professional life as a psychologist, Belinda has always been passionate about understanding what makes people tick. She is particularly interested in understanding the working lives and careers of individuals and collaborating with individuals to make work a more satisfying and productive experience. Since earning her degree in psychology Belinda has gone on to also earn degrees in human resource management and organisational behaviour. In addition to the University of Melbourne, Belinda has also worked at Queensland University of Technology, Monash University, and the University of Western Australia. Belinda’s expertise covers leadership, stress management, teams, and high-performance work practices.

Professor Susan Ainsworth

Subject Coordinator


Professor Susan Ainsworth has been researching and teaching in the areas of Human Resource Management, Work and Organisations for more than two decades. Her current research interests include public discourse about technology and work, HR and ethics, diversity, equity and inclusion, public sector management, and qualitative approaches to understanding work, organizations and policy. She has published research in leading international journals such as Organization Studies, Human Relations, Journal of Business Ethics and Public Management Review.
