This course runs over four weeks, including two weeks of teaching, and two weeks for assessment.
Your total time commitment is approximately 42 hours, which includes:
8 hours guided online learning
13 hours independent study
21 hours assessment tasks.

Annotated presentation exploring your understanding of data storage and analytics in organisations (70%).
Your digital certificate
Once you've successfully completed this course, you will be awarded your Strategic Data in Organisations micro-credential. This digital certificate will warrant the achievement of knowledge, skills and capabilities outlined in the learning outcomes. It may also include artefacts (such as videos and written material) related to both experiential and work-integrated learning, including translatable assessment that is practical to your professional life. Strategic Data in Organisations can be taken as a stand-alone course, or complemented with any other Melbourne MicroCert in the Leveraging Organisational Data series to deepen your knowledge and skills.
It offers a pathway, otherwise known as advanced standing, into the Master of Information Sytems. To use it this way, you need to complete all four micro-credentials in the Leveraging Organisational Data series, then apply for credit towards the master's.
