Access Melbourne: Graduate of an under-represented school

If you have completed your Year 12 studies in 2022 at one of the Victorian secondary schools listed below, you are eligible for the under-represented schools category in 2023.

What is an under-represented school?

Under-represented schools are defined by the University as Victorian schools that have had an average of 20 or more Year 12 VTAC applicants per year for the past three years, and meet one of the criteria below:

Have 50% or fewer applicants enrolled in higher education, and 10% or fewer applicants enrolled in higher education at the University of Melbourne, or
Have between 51% and 70% of applicants enrolled in higher education, and 5% or fewer applicants enrolled in higher education at the University of Melbourne.

Victorian schools with an average of fewer than 20 Year 12 VTAC applicants for the past three years are considered on a case-by-case basis for inclusion on our list of under-represented schools.
