Our entry requirements

We accept the International Baccalaureate, A levels and US High School Diplomas curriculum for direct entry. We also accept students who graduate with a CBSE All India Senior School Certificate (AISSC) / CISCE Indian School Certificate (ISC). Students must achieve the minimum overall GPA in Year 12, have completed any course prerequisite subjects and meet English language requirements to be eligible for direct entry into a bachelors degree.

For students who do not attend one of the approved gifted high schools or those students who do not wish to complete Year 12 in India, Trinity College Foundation Studies (TCFS) is the University’s preferred foundation studies program and pathway for international students seeking entry into the University’s undergraduate degrees.

International student scholarships

We have one of the most generous scholarship programs in Australia to help with your tuition and living costs.

Melbourne University Indian Club

Indian club aims provide fun and frivolity for students of sub-continental origin. MUIC holds a number of events throughout the year that aim to integrate university students from different faculties and cultural backgrounds and immerse them in rich Indian culture.

Indian Graduate Students Society

The Indian Graduate Students Society aims to make life easier for new Indian students in Melbourne and bringing current students together in a vibrant professional and recreational network. They understand that leaving Mom’s garma garam khaana and moving to a new country can be challenging, and getting used to no honking or roadside panipuri stalls can be even more daunting!

We are bringing the Bollywood magic to Melbourne University. Whether you want to widen your Bollywood exposure with Movie Screenings & Trivia Night, or learn the Bollywood craft with dance lessons or just chill out in the Theme Party, come along with friends and Relive Bollywood with us.
