    The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a higher-level research degree that requires advanced research, conceptual and writing skills. The thesis is undertaken as a full dissertation or combined with a design project and needs to demonstrate a critical application of specialist knowledge that makes an independent contribution to existing scholarship.
