Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts provides immersive and rigorous, conservatoire-style preparation for the 21st century performer and theatre maker. We celebrate the full creative potential of you as a creative, collaborative artist and will train you to become both accomplished performers and highly skilled devisors of your own work.

You can also study Acting and Theatre as part of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre).

Who is this course for?

The course provides an opportunity for graduates from the VCA’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting), Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre) and theatre graduates of other institutions to develop their potential for practice-based research and deepen their knowledge and practice as an actor, artist, collaborator and theatre maker through a specialised and advanced fourth year of study.
