The Doctoral Program is made up of a 2-year Master of Commerce coursework program followed by a 3-year PhD.
All successful applicants admitted on a full-time basis will receive substantial financial support, including up to five years of full funding with a living stipend of $A30,000 per year and tuition waivers, which provides you with the time and resources to develop high-level skills and knowledge whilst achieving both a masters and PhD qualifications. Students are also supported by a range of grants to assist with fieldwork and conference attendance.
Taught by the Department of Management and Marketing, the Doctoral Program combines rigorous research training and substantial opportunity to work on independent research projects with world renowned academics. This research training and activity will provide you with the skills and knowledge to address meaningful problems facing consumers, employees, managers, organisations, industries and communities. The expected career outcome is placement in research-focused academic jobs. Graduates could also seek applied research career opportunities in the public and private sector.
