Master of Teaching (Secondary) Internship graduates are ready for the challenging work of being a teacher and greatly sought after by schools in our extensive network. There are regular opportunities for teachers to move into roles that influence and shape the direction of a school, including leadership positions.
Key career outcomes
- Become a secondary teacher. Register with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and become qualified in two learning areas.
- Over 20 teaching paths. Choose from a wide range of subjects, from Accounting to Arts, and Legal Studies to Languages.

Accreditation
The Master of Teaching (Secondary) Internship is accredited by the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) according to the Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL) Graduate Standards and Initial Teacher Education Program Standards. Graduates may apply for registration to teach in Australian schools.
