This major opens up careers in health communication, community engagement, health promotion, health program development, public health projects, public health research, and epidemiology.

Graduates with a public health degree work for the federal and state governments, affiliated government organisations (i.e., hospitals), non-government organisations (NGOs), Research Institutes, Universities and private companies. Graduates with a public health degree can work locally or overseas.

Further study

You can complete an honours year in Population and Global Health as part of your Bachelors degree, or you can immediately move into graduate studies.
