Melbourne Peer Mentoring Program (MPMP)

The MDHS Melbourne Peer Mentor Program connects commencing first year Bachelor of Oral Health students with a later year student to help make the transition to university life easy and more enjoyable. Your peer mentor group will meet periodically throughout your first year of study and this is an opportunity for your group to: meet new students and make some friends, find out more information about student engagement programs, workshops, and events to get involved in, find out the insider knowledge of being a Bachelor of Oral Health student and more!

Academic Advising (AA)

Commencing in the second semester of your Bachelor of Oral Health, and continuing throughout your studies, you will be paired with an academic adviser from the faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences. Academic advisers are experienced members of our community who can help you adjust to study and life at University. Your academic adviser will take an active interest in your progress, success, and challenges. Using their extensive networks, they can help you to connect with your faculty and the broader University community, as well as external professionals and industry representatives. These sessions provide a space to think, share ideas, talk about your goals, and explore opportunities with your (University) community!
