Taught by experts in mechanical engineering, explore the fundamentals, applications, and implications of additive manufacturing (AM), and gain future-focused skills in 3D printing to manufacture products for your industry that are lighter, stronger and more efficient.
Delivered by the University of Melbourne and supported by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR), this flexible 12-week course features online and in-person instruction options at the University of Melbourne's Telstra Creator Space, a world-class fabrication lab for engineering professionals.

Be introduced to key concepts in 3D printing
Learn how to create a physical object from a digital design file. You'll explore key concepts in geometric design and gain essential skills to design and print parts that were once thought impossible to make.
Use specific industry-standard technologies
Understand how to use the latest digital design, modelling and visualisation tools that are revolutionising how products are manufactured in multiple industries. You'll gain experience using 3D binder-jetting technologies that are transforming traditional high-volume manufacturing.
