Follow your career ambitions from day one at Melbourne

As a student at the University of Melbourne, your degree structure may seem a little different to most universities in Australia. Instead, the Melbourne Model follows a similar structure to many of the world’s top universities. This means our students will have the opportunity to complete a broad undergraduate degree in their chosen area of study, specialising at the graduate level.

So how can you make sure you reach your career ambitions of becoming a lawyer, engineer or maybe a dentist from the day you leave high school?

Our Graduate Degree Packages for school leavers bundle an undergraduate degree offer with an offer for a place in one of our specialised, professional entry graduate school programs. So, you can choose to enrol in your desired undergraduate and graduate study pathway immediately after your final year of high school.

This means you could enrol in the Bachelor of Science and lock in your spot in the Master of Engineering from day one at Melbourne.

Each of our Graduate Degree Packages for school leavers are listed below and each has a unique VTAC code. Domestic students are eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place for both your undergraduate and graduate studies, while international students may receive a full fee paying place in one of our programs.

Regardless of where you’re from, you’ll need to make sure you have completed an Australian Year 12 or the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Australia to be eligible for a Graduate Degree Package. Australian citizens who complete the above qualifications outside Australia are also eligible.

You can withdraw from your chosen Graduate Degree Package at any point, concluding your studies with a bachelors qualification, or pursue another career by applying for a different graduate degree.
