Use of predicted/forecast grades
The University accepts predicted/forecast results for our mid-year (July) intake, for GCE A Level and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma applicants, within strict parameters. Forecast results will be accepted for entry into most undergraduate courses offered by the University.
To confirm if your results and/or your secondary school make you eligible for a mid-year (July) intake offer using forecast results, please contact the Offshore Recruitment Team.
Entry after post-secondary studies
Studies that you have completed after secondary school/high school may qualify you for entry. You still need to satisfy the minimum requirements for entry including the prerequisites for your preferred course.
If you are eligible for entry and have successfully completed learning elsewhere that is at a similar level and standard (and equivalent in content to studies within a University of Melbourne course), you may also be eligible for admission with credit.
General requirements
As a guide, minimum average results equivalent to at least 70% at the University of Melbourne, will be required for entry to our undergraduate courses, where entry is based on studies completed at university level. The level of performance required may be higher in different intakes and will vary by course. Entry cannot be guaranteed.
