Learning and content has been informed by curriculum guidelines developed by the Joint Task Force on Cybersecurity Education as well as ISACA’s Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Body of Knowledge, meaning you can be confident your knowledge is up-to-date, applicable to industry, and that you are well-placed to meet the growing demand for highly knowledgeable cybersecurity managers across sectors.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Create a template for profiling cyber threat actors, demonstrating a sound knowledge of cybersecurity requirements and the cyber-threat landscape
• Apply critical thinking skills to publicly available sources of knowledge to generate a cyber-threat actor profile
• Evaluate the utility of the template given the cybersecurity requirements of organisations.

This course runs over four weeks, including one pre-teaching week, two weeks for delivery, and one week for assessment.

Your total time commitment is approximately 42 hours, which includes:

• 8 hours guided learning
• 15-20 hours independent study
• 15-20 hours assessment

Assessment:

• Threat Actor Profiles of Cyber-Attackers: a 1250-word individual report (100%).

Once you've completed this course, you will be awarded your Cybersecurity in Organisations micro-credential. This digital certificate will warrant the achievement of knowledge, skills and capabilities outlined in the learning outcomes. It may also include artefacts (such as videos and written material) related to both experiential and work-integrated learning, including translatable assessment that is practical to your professional life.
