Developed specifically for professionals, Melbourne MicroCerts are underpinned by our cutting-edge research and worldclass pedagogical practice.
You can complete one on its own or complete a series of four. These are designed to provide a pathway – otherwise known as 'advanced standing' – into the Master of Education. To use it in this way, you will need to complete all four Melbourne MicroCerts in the relevant series, as each MicroCert is equivalent to one-quarter of a standard subject, and then apply for credit towards the qualification.

After years of working in remote Aboriginal schools in the Northern Territory, Matt chose to study the Master of Education to develop the leadership skills he was using in his role. 4 years later, he then enrolled on our Master of TESOL so he could better support his teaching team in literacy in an Indigenous context.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time studying at MGSE. The quality of teaching, collaborative study projects with fellow students, friendships, and the great support I was afforded by the academic and support staff made the journey achievable.
